Tour Details
Step by step description of our luxury tour. From start to finish what to expect.
Beginning
Pick up by your local Scottish tour guide from any hotel/apartment within 10 mile radius of St Andrews. Maximum of 3 people per tour.
The Journey
Chauffeur 20 minutes in an air-conditioned comfortable and spacious vehicle to a small Fife village where the hike begins.
The First Taste
We will begin the 5 mile hike with a taster of a choice Scotlands finest whiskey or a cocktail/mocktail to warm the system.

The Hike
The guided hike will last 2.5 hours.

Landscape and Tasting
Beautiful panoramic views of Fife and the Tay River and Bridges at the peak with further whiskey tastings.

The Best Part
The tour guide will remain with you for the full tour.
The Final Tasting

We will have final tasting of whiskey at the end of the hike before driving back to your accommodation.

The Cost
Cost £120pp all inclusive.
Free Bottled Scottish Still water included.
Payment in cash or bank transfer (please note we do not accept card transactions) at the end of your tour.

FAQs
Where does the tour start?
The tour will start at your very own accommodation and the guide will contact you in advance to advise of timings for the day.
What if I don't like whiskey?
Well, you aren't welcome in Scotland. Just kidding, of course! We provide free Scottish still water and a choice of cocktail or mocktail in replacement of whiskey.
Can I wear trainers?
This 5 mile walk can be done comfortably in trainers however if you have hiking boots the would be advisable to wear to match your guide.
How much does it cost?
The cost of the private tour is £80 per person for your 4 hours.
We accept payment by cash or bank transfer at the end of your trip.
What if the weather is bad?
Unfortunately in circumstances where there is significant rain, due to safety, the tour will be cancelled and your guide will be in touch at least an hour before your tour to confirm this.
Why can I not book for 4 people?
To optimise luxury and spaciousness, the tours are currently limited to 3. If you are a group of 4 together, this can at times be accommodated. Please just drop us a message using the contact form and we'll get back to you to confirm your tour.
